M.A.W.A.

The Moroccan American Women's Association (M.A.W.A) is a charitable, non-profitable non-political and non-religious organization established by Moroccan American women in USA. It is established for cultural and educational purposes with providing support to Moroccan American Community in USA Through various activities that will strive to assess the needs of women to assist them, exploit their skills to become more productive and more involved in building strong bridges and foundations in American society. Also to teach our children Arabic and French and gives them all the information about our mother country and our culture.
Also to strengthen the relationship between the American Moroccan families.

Our Goals

➢ To insure cultural, educational, and social integrity for the American Moroccan community
➢ To strengthen the relationship between the American Moroccan families and their friends by creating a productive networking space.
➢ To preserve the identity of the future generation by helping Moroccan teenagers overcome social challenges.
➢ To create a community center that we can call home.
➢ To spread awareness and promote the understanding of the diversity and beauty of Moroccan culture.
➢ To conduct charitable and fundraising events to serve and assist underprivileged communities, orphanage, shelters, and the disabled around the world.
➢ To create an enjoyable environment for our children.
➢ To exhibit our cultural heritage, to insure education and integrity for the American Moroccan community.
➢ To promote the understanding of diversity and beauty of Moroccan culture.
➢ To teach our children the languages Arabic and French, but mostly Moroccan.
➢ To strengthen the relationship between the American & Moroccan families.
